Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils in a therapeutic context. Essential oils are pure aromatic plant extracts, often applied diluted in a base oil, using massage techniques.
Evidence has shown that aromatherapy is particularly effective for treating stress and stress-related conditions, since it affects and benefits the mind and body, in several distinct ways, simultaneously.
I studied with Christian Le Xingrean at Morley College and The International School of Aromatherapy in London in 1995-96. I have worked extensively with cancer patients using aromatherapy. I stock a wide selection of essential oils and use organic essential oils whenever possible.
